Turtle and Meadow Soprano are dunzo
 If you thought Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Jerry Ferrara were going to last, you can just fuhgeddaboudit. The two, who had been dating since October 2008, have decided to go their separate ways, according to a source close to the "Sopranos" actress. Rumors started swirling when Sigler showed up solo for last Tuesday's screening of "It's Complicated" at the W Hotel in L.A. "She came with a few girlfriends, and they drank wine all night. They looked like they were having a good time," a partygoer dished, confirming that Ferrara was nowhere in sight. Sigler was next spotted out and about over the weekend in NYC with longtime pal Lance Bass. The two stopped by Susan Sarandon's Ping-Pong bar Spin in Gramercy on Thursday night and went shopping together in the Meatpacking District on Friday. Later that night, they checked out "Burn the Floor," which stars Bass' former "Dancing With the Stars" cohorts Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Kym Johnson. "Lance is a really good friend to Jamie," the source says. "He's been helping her out and giving her good advice." A partygoer at Spin noticed that Jamie-Lynn looked like she was having a blast with her bud. "They were playing Ping-Pong and laughing, and it didn't seem like she was sad or anything was wrong. Lance was being really funny and entertaining her." Our source says Sigler is indeed distressed about the split - which the snitch says was mutual - but adds that she's going to be just fine. "It came at a good time for Jamie-Lynn. She was coming home to New York for the holidays anyway, and she wanted to do her own thing for a little while and definitely be out of Hollywood."Meanwhile, Ferrara spent his weekend gallivanting in L.A. - a spy inside West Hollywood hot spot Voyeur saw the HBO star enjoying himself on Saturday night with Kevin Connolly and quite a large female "Entourage." "Kevin and Jerry arrived around 11 with a group of girls," a source inside the club said. "They were dancing and hanging out and didn't leave until after 2 a.m." No word on whether Ferrara, who is originally from Brooklyn, will be coming home for the holidays as well ... but let's hope this city is big enough for the both of them. source |

Muse had never watched SNL before performing on the show last week?? OH SNAP.
 Capping off a successful 2009, Muse appeared as the musical guest on 'Saturday Night Live' in an episode hosted by actor James Franco. The UK rockers performed 'Uprising,' the lead single off their latest album 'The Resistance,' as well as 'Starlight,' their hit single from 2006's 'Black Holes and Revelations.' Although the band knew that playing 'SNL' was a great opportunity, drummer Dominic Howard confessed to Spinner that they're not exactly familiar with the show. "To be honest, none of us have ever really seen it before," he said before the taping. "I know it's this huge, big American institution and everyone watches it, so I'm looking forward to seeing what it's all about. I've seen a few like classic band performances on it, like Nirvana in '92. I'm excited to be doing it." The gig marked only the band's second appearance on American television, following their performance of 'Uprising' at the MTV VMAs. Rather than play at Radio City, the trio recorded their gig at the nearby, Kanye-free Walter Kerr Theatre. "That particular thing was a really cool experience because we were in our own theater and effectively did our own gig," Howard said. "Even though it's only song that went out on the air for MTV, we actually played for about an hour and filled the whole place up with like 900 fans. It was a really fun experience." Fresh off a tour opening for U2, Muse next heads to Asia and Australia before returning to North America for a headlining tour in late February. Lisa Loeb Debuts A New Collection Of Eyewear
 Though Lisa Loeb rose to fame as a singer, she’s probably just as well known for her eyeglasses. Loeb is finally cashing in on her signature look, partnering with Classique Eyewear on a line of frames called “The LL Collection.” “People have been asking me about my eyewear style for years. Finally I decided – why not design my own line – so other people can see the world like I do,” she says. The new series includes streamlined pieces in black and tortoiseshell, as well as embellished options punctuated with rhinestones and etchings. “I worked with Classique Eyewear to design a line that represents the look I love: one that can be worn from day into night, that’s classic but stylish, that frames the face and lifts the eyes, but doesn’t speak before you have a chance to,” she declares. Because after she wraps the U.S. leg of the jaw-dropping jaunt in January, Gaga is planning on scrapping the entire thing in favor of a brand-new show, which she'll unveil during her run of U.K. arena shows the following month.  When we last saw Betty Draper, she was on a plane to Reno with Henry Francis by her side. Was that the end of her story, especially since Don Draper’s undoubtedly going to go on without her? Well, Matthew Weiner doesn’t like to give away much about the future, but January Jones has renewed her contract with Mad Men. Weiner confirmed it and spoke about some other bits and pieces from the Mad Men finale. He was in a giving mood. It wasn’t just the holiday season, either. Mad Men had a great week in award nominations — Golden Globes, Writers Guild and Screen Actors Guild. First, Betty — I mean January. According to Weiner, “January’s contract has been renewed.” As for Betty as a character, Weiner referred to one of his writers, Lisa Albert, explaining that the relationship with Henry is crucial to Betty. “Betty will go through this process while learning the least amount possible.” Despite the fact that Betty and Henry have yet to make love, they are heading to a wedding. It seems improbable in today’s sensibility, but Weiner’s story is set in 1963. Girlicious' New Single "Over You"
Girlicious has released the first single from their sophomore album entitled "Over You" to Canadian radio this past week. The track is the follow-up to their highly successful debut album which was certified platinum in Canada. Girlicious (made up of Chrystina Sayers, Nichole Cordova and Natalie Mejia) were formed on the reality TV show "Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious" and initially included a fourth member, Tiffanie Anderson. Anderson departed the group last year after their label decided they wanted to go in a different direction with the group. A better look at "Frozen"
About a week and a half ago, we got a first look at some promo pictures from Adam Green's Frozen. Since then, the film has had it's first official screening at Butt-Numb-a-Thon (complete with a fainting), and they've released a poster, trailer and more in depth synopsis. Bottom line, the movie seems to make a bit more sense as to how it's able to work as a feature. And while the subject matter is completely different I'm getting a total Open Water vibe from it. What's your thoughts ONTD?

OLIVIA MUNN has cast doubt over rumours she's dating STAR TREK star CHRIS PINE by declaring she's "officially single".
The pair was rumoured to be romantically entangled by a U.S. tabloid report last month (Nov09) that suggested they were dating following Pine's split from The Hills star Audrina Patridge.
A source told Us Weekly, "It's quite serious already. They have an intellectual connection as well as a physical one."
But in an interview with the January 2010 issue of Maxim, Greek star Munn insists there's no man in her life.
She says, "I just broke up with my boyfriend, so I'm officially single."
Munn also offers a tip for men keen to woo her: "One thing I find unbelievably annoying is all these guys in my life who want to save me. They're like, 'Do you feel alone?'

Brittany Murphy -- Frantic Rescue Effort
 Brittany Murphy's husband and mother made a frantic attempt to revive her before paramedics arrived ... this according to notes written by an investigator from the L.A. County Coroner's office. And, there were a shocking number of strong prescription meds on Brittany's nightstand. TMZ has reviewed the documents, written by Investigator Blacklock. According to his notes, Brittany Murphy "had been complaining of shortness of breath and severe abdominal pain" for 7 to 10 days prior to her death. According to the notes, Murphy went into the bathroom at around 7:30 AM Sunday and shut the door.A half hour later Brittany's mother, Sharon Murphy, went to check on her daughter, opened the bathroom door and "discovered the decedent lying on the floor unresponsive." According to the notes, Sharon yelled for help. Brittany's husband, Simon Monjack, who was in bed, heard the screams and ran to the bathroom. According to the notes, Sharon called 911 and Simon "attempted to revive the decedent by placing her in the shower and running the water." dr. conrad murphy style non cpr i seeThe notes continue -- "The decedent remained unresponsive and purged her stomach contents prior to the arrival of the paramedics." When the paramedics arrived, Brittany was "without signs of life." Paramedics moved Brittany from the bathroom to the master bedroom, where they found a slew of prescription drugs -- "A check of the nightstands revealed large amounts of prescription medication in the decedent's name. Also noted were numerous empty prescription medication bottles in the decedent's husband's name, the decedent's mother's name and unidentified third party names." According to the notes, the medications included Topamax (anti-seizure meds also to prevent migraines), Methylprednisolone (anti-inflammatory), Fluoxetine (depression med), Klonopin (anxiety med), Carbamazepine (treats Diabetic symptoms and is also a bipolar med), Ativan (anxiety med), Vicoprofen (pain reliever), Propranolol (hypertension, used to prevent heart attacks), Biaxin (antibiotic), Hydrocodone (pain med) and miscellaneous vitamins.The notes say, "No alcohol containers, paraphernalia or illegal drugs were discovered." According to the notes, "The night prior to her death, the decedent had consumed some noodles, leftover Thai food, Gatorade, water and tea with lemon."The notes also say Brittany had a history of hypoglycemia and was hospitalized in April 2009 for low blood sugar while on location in Oregon." Monjack told the investigator during the 7 to 10 days prior to her death, Brittany complained of shortness of breath and severe abdominal pains but he was not overly alarmed because "she often suffered from severe menstrual pains."The investigator spoke with police at the scene, who told him "foul play is not suspected." who else but tmz |

perez continues to be a moron- ontd gets a mention
James Cameron’s Avatar opened this weekend and narrowly missed setting the record for largest December debut of all time. The groundbreaking CGI epic made $77 million once the actual numbers were posted Monday afternoon, just $185,840 shy of the Will Smith starrer I Am Legend ($585M worldwide total).
Avatar also managed $232 million worldwide, the biggest global opening for a non-sequel in the history of cinema.
Not bad for a failure. Seeking new ways to grab attention, Perez Hilton blogged, “The most expensive movie ever made has FAILED at the box office,” citing an erroneous claim that the movie was made for $500 million.
He neglected to inform his readers of the record 3D and IMAX sales, which explains why some audiences may be waiting for a show that isn’t sold out with this premium technology. Not even a hint of its strong word of mouth that will easily carry the movie through January. Not to mention expert opinion, who believe the 20th Century Fox movie is destined to recoup and then some.
Of course, Hilton compares it to The Twilight Saga: New Moon, which put up impressive, record-breaking numbers last month before dropping like a rock the following weekend once the Twi-hards had received an eyeful of shirtlessness.
Hilton’s blog typically copies and pastes stories from others (like the jackals at OhNoTheyDidn’t) before providing punctuation-laden commentary that shaves IQ points from its readers. This time the gossip queen attempted original content and wound up looking more ridiculous than going out of the house looking like this.
I’ll tell you what’s disappointing. No scribbling on the Avatar poster in Perez’s box office coverage! No juvenile drawings of penises or childlike captions that scream “LOSER!” Maybe the mother of all Internet attention whores is slipping. I’m sure I’m telling you what you already know at this point, but Perez Hilton is a douche.
